Warning: You have to repay your loans. Don't pay any intermediaries.
Money Lender · Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

Nobody who works
for us will ask you
for a fee first.

Long View Credit Limited lends from Queen's Road Central in Sheung Wan. The most common way people are cheated in this market is not by a lender at all — it is by an "agent" who takes a handling fee and disappears. So we would rather open with how to tell the difference than with a rate we cannot honestly quote you.

Five signs the person contacting you is not us

Any one of these is enough. Stop and verify

A fee is requested before any money is lent
Handling fee, arrangement fee, "unlocking" a transfer
They approached you out of nowhere
A cold call or messaging app offering easy credit
They want your banking passwords or codes
No lender needs your login or a one-time password
Approval is "guaranteed", whatever your record
Nobody can promise that before assessing anything
You are asked to sign blanks or hand over documents
Never sign an incomplete agreement. Never surrender originals
Hong Kong requires every money lender's advertisement to carry the same warning about intermediaries. It is there because this happens constantly.

Who we are

Lending, on
Queen's Road Central

Long View Credit Limited is a money lender based in Grand Millennium Plaza, Sheung Wan. We provide personal and commercial credit to borrowers in Hong Kong under the Money Lenders Ordinance, Chapter 163.

We are not a bank. We take no deposits, operate no accounts and issue no cards. Money lenders sit outside the banking system, which is precisely why the Ordinance sets conditions on how we may advertise, what we may charge and how agreements must be documented.

Our name is not decoration. A loan is a relationship that lasts months or years, and the only version of this business that works is one where the borrower could still afford the payments in a bad quarter. Lending someone more than they can carry is not a sale. It is a loss that has not been recognised yet.

Any lender can put money in your hands today. The question worth asking is what the arrangement looks like in month eighteen.

What we lend

Credit with a stated purpose

Each facility has a defined amount, term and repayment schedule, set out in writing before anything is signed.

Personal Instalment Loans

A fixed sum repaid over a fixed term, so the final payment date is known on the day you sign rather than discovered later.

Debt Consolidation

Combining several obligations into one schedule — but only where the total cost genuinely falls. We will show you the arithmetic either way.

SME & Commercial Loans

Working capital for small businesses, sized against what the trade can actually service rather than what the owner hopes it will.

Invoice & Receivables Finance

Advancing against invoices already issued to creditworthy customers, where the only real problem is the payment term.

Property-Secured Lending

Loans secured on Hong Kong property. Security means the asset is genuinely at risk if payments stop, which we say at the outset rather than in a footnote.

Short-Term Bridging

Cover for a defined gap with an identified source of repayment. If the exit is uncertain, bridging finance makes the problem larger, not smaller.

Check before you borrow

Four things the law gives you
that people don't use

Hong Kong's framework for money lending contains real protections, and most borrowers never touch them because nobody explains they exist. All four take minutes and cost nothing — and they apply to us exactly as they apply to anyone else quoting you a loan.

The register of money lenders is public

The Companies Registry maintains a register of licensed money lenders, searchable through its e-Services portal, with lists of current licensees available free of charge. Before you deal with any lender, look them up. It takes a few minutes and settles the most basic question there is.

There is a statutory ceiling on the rate

Lending at an effective rate above 60% per annum is prohibited under the Ordinance, and the effective rate is calculated on a method the law specifies rather than one a lender chooses. Ask for the effective annual rate, not a monthly figure or a flat percentage — those are not comparable.

You should not be paying an intermediary

The warning carried on every money lender's advertisement in Hong Kong exists for a reason. An unlicensed "agent" who collects a fee to arrange a loan is the single most common way borrowers lose money here. Deal with the lender directly; if someone stands between you and us, they were not sent by us.

You are entitled to the agreement in writing

The amount, the rate, the schedule and the total repayable belong in a written agreement you receive a copy of. Never sign a document with blanks in it, never sign one you have not read, and never accept a promise made only in conversation. If a lender resists any of this, that is the answer to your question about them.

If a lender's conduct troubles you: the Registrar of Money Lenders sits with the Companies Registry, and enforcement of the Money Lenders Ordinance is a matter for the Commissioner of Police. Complaints about a licensed lender's behaviour, and reports of unlicensed lending, both have somewhere proper to go. If you are being threatened or harassed over a debt, that is a matter for the police, whoever the money came from.
